David Barna

BIO
David Barna, a Detroit native, recently earned a Law degree from Georgetown University and was a post-graduate fellow with a prominent consumer advocacy group in Washington, D.C. While in law school, he worked on government contract and trademark litigation matters with the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Before law school, David served as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year Detroit for two years. There, he developed project management and community development skills through tutoring students in Detroit Public Schools, planning and executing after-school programs, and managing fundraising and logistics for a free Spring Break camp. David earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in Social Psychology. He currently lives in Downtown Detroit and is excited to start his work with Midtown Detroit Inc.
