While in graduate school and for a brief period after, I worked in the Housing Division of the Community Development Division of Cambridge, MA. After graduate school, I lived and worked in Vermont for many years, working in pre-development/scoping in Burlington’s Community and Economic Development Office, then in development review in the Department of Planning and Zoning and finally, as a consultant working on the re-write of Burlington’s Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. I then moved to New York City to work for the Department of Transportation and now I find myself in Detroit, working in the Mayor’s Office.
At Work
I am currently working in the Mayor’s Office, anywhere that I can be of help in the City’s efforts to demonstrate its solvency and potential. My current projects primarily involve initial stages of the Rolling Rapid Transportation Plan (RRT) including Bus Rapid Transit, a review of grants management in various city departments and support in efforts to reduce vendor contracts by 10%.
